Our natural flooring is supplied by the Alternative Flooring Company, a leading specialist in natural flooring of the highest quality. The fibres used in the beautiful rugs, runners and fitted flooring are sourced from around the globe; Sisal is extracted from the leaves of a plant grown in South America, Coir comes from coconut husks in Kerala, India, and Jute is made from the inner bark of the giant corchorus plants grown in Southern India. The farming of these and other natural flooring crops is sustainable and support entire local communities. The fibres are attractive, anti-static, long lasting and non-allergenic.

Natural fibre carpets and rugs are often used in New England houses, and fits in well with both a rustic style, and a cooler, coastal interior.
