Russia Market Report
Russia’s television industry is certainly the largest and undoubtedly also one of the most dynamic in Central and Eastern Europe. Though dominated by well-established broadcasters such as the First Channel, Rossiya TV, NTV and CTC, it also has three DTH platforms, a cable industry serving some 13.5 million homes and a rapidly expanding IPTV sector. What is more, HDTV and VOD are already a reality, and a plan for the transition to digital broadcasting is in place.
This report, the fourth in the Broadband TV News Briefing, provides a complete overview of the fast-changing Russian TV industry. It will provide an extremely useful reference tool for anyone interested in the market and its prospects for the future.
