This is vehicle carries the special route branding livery of “Route 55 shopworkplay” of Stagecoach in Swindon.
Stagecoach in Swindon service 55 was launched in August 2006 as part of a “Kick Start” bid made by Stagecoach West and Wiltshire County Council, to improve the quality of the Swindon - Chippenham route. The frequency was enhanced to every 20 minutes and the Swindon - Wootton Bassett corridor now enjoys a 10 minute headway following coordination with the single-deck operated service 54, and a Quality Bus Partnership has been set up. The branded livery was developed by Ray Stenning’s “Best Impressions” and the rears of the Tridents each portray actual passengers and the reasons why they use the service.
The replica features excellent detailing, inside and out, including an opening engine door and engine detail. This is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. The model also has no unnecessary metal poles to hold it together. |
