Due to the climbing ability on rack and pinion track, this loco, (which is similar to BR91.3-18) can master extraordinary gradients of upto 35%. Profi Coupling 6514 shows the advantages of the Fleischmann PROFI coupling system on steeply graded track.

This model is designed for DC (analogue) operation but is fitted with a 6-pin NEM651 socket so can easily converted to DCC (Digital) use if required.
