Fleischmann HO: 4246 “Warship” Diesel loco of the British Railways – green: D821 “Greyhound”
The Model:
Super-detailing, -livery and -lettering. Inset windows. Interior details in driver’s cab. 2 loco drivers in cab 2. Cast metal chassis. Drive on 4 wheels, of which 4 are fitted with traction tyres. Working headlights at each end, co-ordinated with the direction of travel. Automatic couplings at each end. Each loco comes with a set three of train headboards for use on named trains of the Western Region; “Torbay Express”, “Cornish Riviera Express” and “The Mayflower”. (Late 1950’s - Early 1960s)
DCC Decoder Installation:
This loco is not fitted for DCC (Digital) operation, but a chip maybe fitted. Please contact us (or telephone 01903 754850) regarding our chip fitting service (Fitting Service 2) or see the separate section of our webshop. This loco will require a replacement motor brush end plate if converted to DCC – part number 50-4732 (price £7.90) – please order separately.
